- A Point of Information is intended to provide a contributor or the house with relevant and important details concerning the issue under discussion.
- To raise a Point of Information, a member must indicate by raising their hand and announcing “Point of Information.” The member shall then have a maximum of one minute to present the information.
- If a member already has the floor before recognizing another on a Point of Information, they shall remain standing while the information is being given.
- A Point of Information should not be abused and must be requested strictly for the purpose of providing valuable and relevant information.
