A point of Order is raised to keep the house on track, in the event of a deviation from the provisions of the AIP Constitution or from its fundamental resolutions and rules.
Any member wishing to raise a point of order shall indicate by raising of hands and announcing “Point of Order”
A Point of Order supersedes every other issue and MUST be recognized by the president.
Any member presenting a Point of Order MUST present the issue as a breach and explain the aspect of AIP Constitution/resolutions/rules that have been breached.
Failing to state the breach, the President can rule the presenter out of order and such member MUST be seated thereafter.
